Is it Time for a Woman President?

In my opinion, I don’t believe the sex of person should make a difference for any job. But I feel, that maybe it is time for women to run for president. And political parties should seek candidates that are likable, honest, and has great ideas for this country.

Many other countries have women in power. Germany has instilled their first woman Chancellor. The UNited Kingdom had Margret Thatcher for a Prime Minister. There are many women in politics that I feel would make good candidates fore president. And they are many minorities in Washington just as influential and would make good candidates as well.

We sit around and preach that equality is the best and here in America anybody can do anything and become anyone. With the election only a little more than 2 years away. Let’s think about some different faces for president. This country is 229 years old. That is 229 years of white and rich men as president. It is time to practise what we preach.

Being a woman, that does not mean I would automatically vote for a woman because I choose a candidate based on how they fit with my ideals at the time. I just want to see it happen. I think that it is really time.
