Before I am Famous

I had some problems this week at payperpost. Nothing too major but I was constantly sending in support tickets. Damn, I would annyoed myself but they were so nice and helpful. How often is there customer service like that anymore? I really can’t think of too many places lately that really are nice people. Luckily everything is resolved and back to normal. Lucky me!

Anyway there is nothing new with me. I really should get on the ball and write more poems at the very least so I have something entertaining to post. I am running out of stuff. I did find a whacky essay that I wrote a few years ago, I will probably post that for some thing to post. I think it is a little off the wall but then again so am I.

What may you ask is so great, this something wonderful? Penn State’s first football game of the season! Woo-hoo now I know everyone is excited about this one.

So who are they playing? Florida International. I never heard of them so I did a little research. I am sure they are fine school. Florida International is part of the sun belt conference, their colors are blue and gold, they are the golden panthers a 0-12 season for last year and Penn State will trounce on them.

So my prediction for this game Penn State wins by a lot. So my score should be 42-7. Remember I just like predicting don’t take me seriously.

But onto other things this weekend will start the Penn State football season. They will play at home against Florida International. So look for the Lion Lowdown sometime this weekend. I have to do some research on that school.

Hello all. Well I have no new stories in the works because I think I have a lot on my plate with all this editing I have to do. I never thought writing was so involved, I always thought editors did that kind of work but in a way I am glad that I am doing it, makes me a better writer.

The kids are going back to school, not that affects me yet but it will be real quiet during the day. I will probably miss my daughter when she goes to school. We have spent every single day together since the day she was born, I can’t imagine her away at school. Only 2 more years to go and she will be off.

Hello all. I worked on the story last night. I think is okay right now. I will probably go over it a couple more times before I am ready to reformat to how the publisher wants it.

I am also working on a synopsis as well. I never had to do one before so I looked it up on the internet and one writer said it was like you had to sell your manuscript to the editor. Sell. yeah I can do that, I do it every day. So the synopsis is going easier then I thought but of course the story is 12,000 words. I did chop out an additional 100 words last night. I am impressed with myself.

Okay right now I am procrastinating. I should be working on my novella. I love saying that but instead I am here chatting it up with everyone. I read in one of those long lost magazines that this sometimes happens. But on a brighter note, I am glad that my story didn’t get published, it is is not as good as it should be. I know, I know the word “was” is a very weak word, in short B-O-R-I-N-G. I am allowed to say this because it is my own work.

Anyway… I use was too much. There are some instances where the word is okay and other times it makes the sentence lame. Case in point a sentence in my story reads, “…Bobby was content with working in the factory and growing old in Bloomingdale,” will be changed to “…while working in the factory and growing old in Bloomingdale contented Bobby.” Now isn’t that 100 times better. Its okay you can agree with me.

Wacky Walnuts time is a-wasting, I better get on with the bigger picture and get some polishing done. I want this to be the best thing I ever produced, well at least for right now!
