Hello all. Well I have some news that is good I suppose. I finally completed editing a story and I actually submitted it to One Story then I felt like I was on a roll so I edited another one and guess what I am only aloud to submit one at a time. Okay that is progress anyway so now the waiting game begins anywhere from 4-12 weeks. You can read the story by clicking on the title Shamelessness It is a story about a woman who seduces an older man and takes control of his thoughts and actions.
We bought 2 black mystery snails the other day at Wal-mart. They are cool they way they glide across the sides of the fishtank. We got the real big ones and at first they looked strange gliding on the tank but now I am used to them.
I read over some of my journals written when I didn’t have a blog for awhile and I wrote some decent peices of imagery. I will post them in the near future possibly tomorrow. Well that is all for now!
Have a nice night!

I knew this would be a tough game for Penn State but I had faith that they would pull through. Unfortunately the Illini, eked by winning yesterday’s football of a score 14-10. This is the second game Penn State lost in the Big 10 Conference, not good, dreams of a decent bowl game are slipping away if they don’t start winning.
Well there is hope next week the Lions will return to Happy Valley to face the Iowa Hawkeyes, 2-3 for the season. Against the teams in the Big 10, Iowa has lost by a very small margin. I am going to say the trend continues and Penn State will win (of course I said almost every week) by a score of 17-14 Penn State. This might be just the game to rebuild the team’s confidence plus it is at home and that is always beneficial.
Next week, Lions you will start your winning streak!

Welcome to my mind
a jungle growing
thick and deep
threats hiding
in shady spaces
dank and wet
the sun filters
through the trees
catching a solemn
butterfly supping
succulent nectar
feeding
lost with a
tattered, decrepit map
pausing to inhale
intoxicating, inebriating
thoughts
of an all consuming
puzzle with unknown
missing pieces.

Howdy all. I have some thoughts on my google PR and my SEO. Seo is search engine optimization which means in laymen’s terms, with certain keywords a search engine is more likely to seek your site and index at the top somewhere. Now I have read somewhere on the net, so take this information with a grain of salt, that higher your Google Page Rank the higher you are on a search.
What does that mean? Well 10 is the best so that will be listed first and then goes from there. I am a 4 and I am on the first or second page of search especially if the word famous is in the search somewhere. Right now search for “famous penn state stories” and guess what I am number one. But there are other searches where people search for something with the word famous and voila they are at my blog.
I am interested in increasing my page rank to a 6 or greater. I already think I am everywhere I possibly can be except on a lot of other people’s blogs. I did a prediction on my score and it said 4 but I am showing up a lot in searches. In a nutshell, google page rank does not accurately portray my blog or all the effort that I put into reaching out to readers. So when it comes to anything that relies on google page rank I am getting a shafting. But perhaps that will change.
Have a great day!

Thinking about living in Arizona or do you need to move to Arizona for work? Probably a good idea if you start looking for homes. I used to dream about living outside of Phoenix when I left college, though I was never there. I just wanted to live in the desert but its still nice to look at the homes in desert and see what’s out there.
If living in an upscale community interests you then pinnacle peak homes is a place right up your alley. This is a nice little development nestled right outside of Scottsdale.

This home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a private pool and a tennis court and a 2 car garage. Trust me this is on my wish list for hit the bestsellers list.
For those of you who adore golf The Holm Group offers many golf course homes Now who wouldn’t love to play golf and live at place with this much
natural beauty around. This is great for soon to be retired folks or retired folks loking to live in a warm dry climate.
There are many properties available in Arizona, you just have to know where to look and why not browse The Holm Group

Music, is one of those things that can keep every insignificant moment in your life and make it memorable. Obviously, music plays a huge part in huge steps in our life. Every time, I hear “I Will Remember You” I always think of my prom. But like scent music also holds those small memories in some little filing cabinet in the brain.
While I was driving one day a song that I haven’t heard in years came on the radio. It was “You Gotta Fight For Your Right to Party” by the Beastie Boys and just out of the blue I remembered something just from that song. In my sophomore year at Penn State, I joined the SGA, because I went to a satellite campus; every month the commonwealth campuses’ SGA got together at University Park for meetings.
It was a weekend in October, a bunch of us SGA officers went up to University Park, we had our little meeting. After the meeting, we watched the tail end of the Penn State game on TV since they were away. Penn State won. We were so ecstatic. We just had to go downtown and celebrate. At the time, none of us were 21 but we weren’t looking for parties just something. Maybe some hooting on the street or something so we felt like we belonged.
I drove my car and that aforementioned song came on the radio. The president of SGA turned the radio all the way up and we yelled and carried on as we drove to downtown State College. We felt like celebrated with everyone else. We get to downtown and park the car and walk the streets. Nothing was going no one causing a ruckus. In fact it was quiet. So we decided on Subway for dinner.
At the end of the meal we are standing in the side street in front of a plate glass window. I don’t really remember the conversation but I took the other half of my foot long and I smacked the president with it. I think I smacked him to hard because the sandwich flew out the plastic and hit the window. The window didn’t break but there was mustard and mayo and some tomatoes smeared all down it though.
We all looked at each other and took off. We got back into the car and laughed about it. That was our excitement, I didn’t mean to have the sandwich hit the window. Needless to say, we drove back to the hotel and that was that.
I pretty much forgotten all about that incident until I heard that song. One song brought back a whole night of memories. The little memories that enhance all our lives in one way or another.

Thinking about a getaway in the south where the weather is pleasant and so are the people? When most people think of a hot spot in the south to vacation they think of places like Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC. I am sure they are very nice places, I guess most people don’t think of a city like Raleigh, NC would be hot vacation spot. Well I want to be the one to tell you that Raleigh has so much to offer. Not only is it a city steeped in history but it offers museums, theater and headlining concerts. Perhaps, I am biased because I have been to Raleigh before and I love North Carolina.
Never thought about a vacation spot to Raleigh here is your opportunity to register Free Raleigh Getaway I checked out the site myself and there is some really great events happening in and around Raleigh. If you love live theater and love Shakespeare then checking out The NC Shakespeare Festival- The Comedy of Errors would be something of interest to you.
I found this really cool festival happening on October 27, 2007 A Celtic Halloween there will be music, games, a haunted trail, pirate encampment, a costume contests and of course food. This sounds like a lot of fun for the entire family.
At the North Carolina Museum of Natural History there an exhibit called Mysteries of the Lost Colony If you don’t know about the Lost Colony, I seen the play on Roanoke Island for my 18th birthday. What it is is a great mystery. Settlers from England settled on Roanoke Island back before America was America and then when the ships came back from England the settlers disappeared with only a word carved in a tree. A very weird piece of pre-American History and I am sure the exhibit would be fascinating.
If you’re looking for a fall getaway then look no further than the entertainment, cultural and historical offerings that Raleigh, NC has to offer. There is so much to do, you might have to come back several weekends. Don’t forget to register for your Free Raleigh Getaway . A prize that includes hotel accommodations for 2, a gift certificate at a Bistro, 2 tickets for a few venues plus more.

Going into the contest for pay per post to win and review the dell printer, I pretty much knew I wasn’t going to win anyway. I just checked the results and I have one whole vote. Oh well, one good thing that happened from participating in the contest was it increased my popularity on technorati. And I always could use more popularity.
The voting ends on Monday. So I am not too worried about winning, it isn’t going to happen there will be other contests I am sure. I just wanted everyone to be updated on that if anyone really cared. I suppose I will have to stop being so cheap and buy myself a new printer.
Well have a nice day everyone!

At first when I read about this site, I was unsure on how it suits me. Then like a bolt of lightening it dawned on me- writing. The site is called driveway.com and it’s only mission is file sharing I know this sounds a little scary but let me tell how this is beneficial to writers. Awhile ago I sent my dad a story to look over andmake any necessary edits.
He uses regular MS word and I use MS Works Word Processor. So I had to change the format so he could read the text and vise-versa. Not a problem just a pain in the butt. Well with driveway.com I can upload my file and send the link to my dad and he can come buy and look at it and even edit it from right there on the website.
This is really ideal for really large files. My story was short so it was okay to send as an attachment in my yahoo email. What if I wrote a novel, that is a huge file and I found a writing partner or someone interested in editing my novel online. This would be perfect way for my partener to read the novel and make changes with out sending several email attachments.
You can upload a file size off 500 MB and have a storage space of 2 GB. There are a variety of ways to enhance your experience, downloading a desktop widget, a plug-in, or a web widget. Editing came done using standard Microsoft office applications.
So writers, looking to have your grandma who lives 3 states from you look at your novel, or that writing partner in another country then check out
