Germany-The Land of Some of My Ancestors

In addition to visiting England, I always wanted to visit Germany, a place where my grandmother’s parents are originally from. Of course, I always loved the musical The Sound of Music, so I would have to visit Austria as well. There is so much to do in both countries. First I would look into hotels in Berlin and that is where I would start my trip.

I would probably stay quite a few days in Germany so I would check out different hotels in Berlin. I love castles and I go to different castles and palaces such as Neuschwanstein, this place looks glorious. Also, I would have to rent a car and travel the Audubon and visit the Black Forest. Before I hit the rails to Austria I will look for some inexpensive hotels in Vienna.

Though Austria has various festivals like Germany there are some pretty nifty offerings such as The Sound of Music tour where I can see where the film was shot in a cozy bus listening to the tunes. Plus there is some free stuff I can do in Vienna, such as drinking water ( may sound weird but their water is pure and clean who wouldn’t want to drink it?) and various Christmas festivals, I might actually look for more expensive hotels in Vienna .

Plus there is much more fun to be had in Austria and Germany, it is no wonder people back pack across Europe, there is so much in every country how can anyone only spend a couple of days?
