State Park Photos #1

Posted on | November 9, 2007 |

Hello all, I wanted to share some pictures that I took with my Kodak 3 mega pixel digital camera. I wish I had a Canon Rebel SLR because Canon is a good name and I loved using my old SLR camera. I was resistant to using digital cameras because I loved the film but after using them for some time, I really started enjoying taking pictures with them. I love my nature pictures.

Another thing that is pretty cool are the digital picture frames. You know the ones where several pictures rotate through, providing a new picture every few minutes. You can buy them pretty inexpensively and it would make a great gift just by taking some candid photos of loved ones and load them into the frame. It really would be the gift that keeps on giving. But I know you are all anxious to see my pictures.
The date and time are wrong, I messed with the camera so ignored that. These were taken a few weeks ago at the local State Park. Here is a picture right near the swamp section of the bog. I thought the weird and mangled tree stumps were very interesting so I snapped the picture. I think this turned out to be a nice picture.
You can tell it is definitely fall in this picture. I am standing next to the bog but I am looking up the hill and I took the picture. Believe it or not, I think I took 4 or 5 of the same shot but this is the nicest one especially with the clouds and the variations of color against a clear blue sky.

I can not wait until winter. I haven’t used the digital camera yet for winter shots. It is lightly snowing now so who knows, maybe some beautiful winter pictures are on the horizon.

Have a photographic day!
