Some Random Descriptive Pieces
A Lake-
Surrounded by soft green peaks sits a still lake. Ripples prodcued from the northerly wind lay quietly stop the water. Towards the shore, lily pads sleep rocking slightly with the breeze. Reflections of white puffy clouds, the green gaurdians of the infinite blue sky can be seen as a wonderful tattoo gracing the lake’s skin. Dragonflies frolic amon the foliage and dip their legs in the inviting water.
Pink Lemonade-
Ahh the sweet and sour refreshment of pink lemonade. It tastes like a summer breeze . The sour then sweet excite my tongue. Tastes so cold like an arctic snow. The lemon strong and the sugar light- quenching a hot thirst.

If I may, back at the lake…
In the center of the lake is a log raft made from many long branched of various sizes tied together with twine and held afloat by a large log underneath. The raft floats still upon the waters. Sitting on the raft is a wizened old man with eyes that squints in the orange sunlight that has started to spill into the lake as the setting sun dips into the horizon. In the man’s hands is a rod. The rod whips a string that is tipped with a hand made fishing fly. The fly on the rod has cousins that rest on the old mans green hat. Between the castings of his rod, he sips pink lemonade, content even if a fish never takes his bait.
or…
…The raft floats upon the waters, settling into motionlessness as if it was just recently upset, but is returning to normal. The raft is empty save for a green hat covered with hand made fishing flies. Below the waters of the lake swims a giant creature. Its scales glint briefly in the orange light of the sun as it sets into lake’s horizon, the waters becoming dark and cold as the creature dives deeper into the depths of the lake without bottom.
and to be goofy….
…lake without bottom. As the creature rests in a lair in the deep of the lake, it contorts its mouth into a wicked smile and sips on some pink lemonade.
This post sparked some creativity in me (that’s a compliment) so I wrote it down.
