At Any Cost for Fame

Published by User ImageJ Scott at 1:21 am under supernova- 100 word stories

Two lovers, both writers, both wanted fame and glory for their words. Their relationship was tumultuous and when they decided they loved each other; they fucked like mad cats. Neither he nor she could live without another.

To support them, she worked and wrote at night. He toiled with his work incessantly. He was told he had the gift. While she was at work, he opened the mail and saw a publisher accepted her manuscript. He only had rejections. He was the gifted one.

He could not let her be the one. She had to go. This was his destiny.

Well here it is, my first 100 word story. It does have exactly 100 words. It took me 5 minutes to write and a half hour to edit it so it was a hundred words. I think I might dabble in some more.
