Afterthoughts on One Rainy Night

Posted on | April 26, 2008 |

Hello all, a few days ago I published the next edition of Weekly Shorts, One Rainy Night. The story is a little long reaching at 1526 words however, I think it is decent. It is supposed to be a mystery and I guess it is kind of a mystery but more a thriller mystery. That is the thing with genres, at least for me anyway, I always seem to cross-pollinate.

At my job interview, the publisher asked how I get my ideas. I have been asked that before. I really had to stop and think. I told him about Weekly Shorts, the rest well are formed from ether I guess. I really don’t know. I think there is some hidden being inside of me that pumps out the stories. There is one thing I can gaurantee is someone else wrote the exact same ideas for Weekly Shorts the story will be different, the beauty of writing.

What is coming next on the agenda?  A thriller, a mystery and a fantasy humor. Agh that is all? Jeez, I have to do some better advertising. If you made it this far then you might want to check out Weekly Shorts : help create a wonderful story, grab some free links and everyone wins! How sunny is that?

Think about it and can’t wait to read your ideas!

Those are the tough kind of questions, “where do you get your ideas?”. Ideas can come from so many places! That would be very difficult to answer.
