Lost- With a Map
Posted on | May 15, 2008 |
When the rain sift through chunky gray
filtering to hungry soil,
Looking to the sky
the fresh maples and skinny saplings
embrace.
The Clarity of Water.
Desires deep in the night
sinking into mud
No way out
only orbits around a small sun.
Powers of lusty warmth
superceding lonliness
from the rusty pail adjacent to
broken down.
House of Hopes.
Done is the day.
New clouds of black roll over the paper moon
draped in lilacs and rhoddedron
Stars slip away.
Darkness Descends.
Done is the day.
Mosiac of light
broken by nothing
peices of sun fall like comets in August
alive and flora filled days.
Dreams carried away on wings of the raven.
Colors of life flood the senses
But.
in the corners
in the ground.
The Abyss Beckons.
When shells from depths of the churning ocean
displayed on feathery sand
memories gone.
Dreams of Solace.
Finally,
the world stops- still and lifeless
Movement in Mind’s Eye Looking to the Sky for Direction.
