Working on Website
I am very confident in my skills with html plus I can read some of the books I have. Last night, I went onto Verizon and started working on my website for Dragonfly Poetry. It is far from being ready. I hate all the templates they just don’t fit. I found one with a nature type of scene but that isn’t working for me. So itt iis back to the drawing board for me. I am thinking about not using a template and just creating page after page by hand so I can add what. I think there is an option for that. I really hope so. I may not be a great designer but I am not horrible anyway. I want to design something that is simple with simple graphics because what is important are the words. Not as much as the website. Yeah I know it is important. I have got plenty of time to play around with it and I am not rushing it all.
I have a love hate relationship with coding but it has improved over the years. I have figured out some advertising one way is Google ads since I already have an account all I have to do is load money as little as 10 bucks it might not give me to many impressions but it is a start. Another way is through Social Spark through sparks and this will work mostly by trading. Someone writes about Dragonfly and then I write about them. I like this method because it is free. Another way is make a paid opp with the money I have already made from Social Spark since there is only one account. I have been thinking of another non traditional way by giving away poems in exchange for a blog post and links to a person’s blog. That is further down the road though. I think, I still might have a credit from Go Daddy from MSN available, I will have to look into that.
