Gosh I love Halloween and now that Sunshine is older, it has become fun again. Now that she is older, she will able to choose what she wants to be for Halloween. She was a bunny, a dragon and a cat, she has a pretty vivis imagination so she might want to be something crazy. Maybe I would let her pick Halloween costumes from costumecauldron.com. They have a huge assortment of costumes for kids like sassy Victorian Pirate She is really into Peter Pan and loves the pirates.

The boyfriend has mentioned before that we should dress up as well. I haven’t dressed up in years. I stopped doing Halloween because I had to work, sometimes I would wear some outlandish head band. I went to a Halloween party once in my work clothes. Before I moved to main campus, I went to a Halloween party in a white dress and sprayed my hair black. I went as a Greek Goddess. My hair is blonde and I used that washable stuff except the black didn’t wash out, no matter how many times I shampooed it that night. I eventually turned gray then the stuff washed out. I love any costume that gives me a reason to color my hair and I found one called ghostly goddess. I also like being dead as well oh and I can color my hair black as well.

While writing about Halloween costumes made me think of what I dressed up when I was 13 or so. I came up with this whole costume and it only cost me the makeup and hair color. I went as a dead contruction worker than died on New Years Eve. I sprayed my hair pink ( again with the blonde, the pink didn’t wash out all the way and picture day for school was the next day, in the picture you can see pink streaks) and my mom used the dead makeup and painted my face. My dad who is bigger than me had holey jeans and shirt. I put them on which made me look dead because the clothes were so big. Then I borrowed his hard hat added some gaudy jewlery and I was off.

While trick and treating, many people asked what I was and I gave them this huge drawn out story, probably more than they wanted to know. Hey it was creative right. That Halloween was kind of bad because it started to rain and there many houses to grab candy from my make up ran as well some of the haircolor. I looked really horrible by the time I got home. I don’t think my dad wore the shirt again even to the job site because it was stained pink.

I can’t wait until Sunshine comes up with her own whacky costumes. If she is anything like me, I am in for a treat!
