How Fit Are You?

Financially fit that is. I went and took a Bills IQ ( http://www.bills.com/iq/). Now a lot of the questions I had a hard time answering because they simply don’t apply to me. They asked questions about paying bills and loans (which I don’t have a regular loan just student loans). Other questions they asked was about a 401K which I don’t have because I am self-employed and other questions about life insurance. My score was 71% a C. I guess I could have been a lot worse. I think what helped me out is that I do pay my monthly bills on time and I save some money.
As far as credit card debt, a lot of my creditors have written me off or given up on me. The one thing that I found really thoughtful was saving for retirement. Of course, I would like to save for my retirement but I just don’t have the extra income. Let’s just say I put a dollar away ever week that is only $52 dollars a year. I am a week shy of 28, so lets say I do this for 40 years, I have only saved $2000 plus dollars. That won’t last long. I should give more thought to my old age and death at least have a will made at the very least. Definitely some food for thought.
One way to help with your bills is Debt consolidation.
