Before I am Famous

literature is something we infer after the story is told

Vanish

Meteorites crash, bombard moon
where we would be with out silver night light
romance and dreams would disappear
written and tossed
on crumpled paper from years back
when you thought you were someone
with something worthy

sipping coldness from a straw soaked in pity
gravel driveway lead to a dark house
nestled in trees
empty and adjacent to
rotting trees, gnarled roots stop entry
once was a beautiful place to sit
and dream of tomorrow

icy clichees come around
to the ochre landscape made in
fantasy worlds of time lost
when magic could happen

When I was somebody.

I wrote this using a writing prompt. I had to use the words: crash, crumpled paper, straw, gravel, ochre. Interesting isn’t you.
