Don’t Forget to Enter My Contest

HI folks, I have been doing a lot of promoting for Exquisite Corpse that I haven’t promoted my contest enough. Remember it is very easy to enter, just visit Story page, choose and read a story then leave a comment on that story. For every comment you leave you will get one entry. The prizes are phenomenal 1000 EC credits for the first place winner, 750 EC credits for the second place winner and 500 credits for the third place winner. So far only 2 people have entered the last day to enter is 7/29/08 so come and get your entries in.

Some of you maybe asking why I am asking for comments on my stories as opposed to just comments on anything? Very simple, you are my consumers (in the larger sense of the word). Your opinion means a lot because if I want to be serious about being a writer and trying to be published, I need to know what you, the readers, hopefully consumers, like or dislike about my stories. They are important to me but don’t spare my feelings either. If you love the story great if something doesn’t make sense or don’t like it then tell me why. I can only learn from mistakes. I am not going to jump off a cliff or stop writing because your comment. Let me tell you one thing, I am my own worst enemy (to use the clichee) I have put myself under more self doubt and scrutiny then any other person can do.

I encourage free speech no matter where you hail from since I am American. Can’t wait to read your comments bad or good because one day I am going to be a published writer and I know that all of you has helped me in my quest.
