This story has been submitted for possible publication there are plenty of stories to read. Thank you for your understanding
The previous story is based on a true story from Philadelphia. I changed some things but the premise is there. A man and his kid board the train and suddenly the man beats a dozing man with a hammer. When the train stops he drags the beaten man out. The strange thing is no one on the train tried to help the man. What makes the story weird is the man got back on the train and still no one helped him. He made to Temple Hospital with out any help. All this while the SEPTA cameras recorded everything.
You can read the story from the Philadelphia Daily News here and even watch a clip of the brutality.
I wonder what would you have done if you were on that train? What is this world coming to? Are we so accustomed to random acts of violence that this an everday occurance? Let your thoughts be known…

I’d love to be able to say without a doubt that I would help but I can’t. I think chances are I would have waited until the attacker had gone and then tried my best to help the poor victim. I would have backed anyone who tried to stop this happening but I don’t have the height, build or courage to be able to do so alone.
I’m ashamed of this & wish it were otherwise but people are too dangerous, violent and merciless for me to take a stand alone. I need to live & live healthily for my son.
