Edge of Equality

Posted on | October 21, 2008 | 2 Comments

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

A belief at the core of our lives. Look at the wars fought since Thomas Jefferson scratched these words on paper. War after war. And  wars fought to retain this belief for all people across the world.

A belief challenged day after day, century after century.

The question becomes, if all people  could believe this would there be a need for war? No.

And deeper thus, do you believe all human kind are created equal when you go home away from the world to your personal liberties?
