Back on the Horse

Yesterday, I left the house and went to work and for some unknown reason I was there thirty minutes before I start work. I attribute this fact because Sunday morning has no traffic and I did 60 90% of the trip. Normally, when I am at work early I sit in the car and visit outer space but not yesterday. Yesterday, I grabbed my notebook and a pen and started writing.

I got into the story and then I looked at the clock I had to go to work. On my first break of the day, I scribbled some more and then I haven’t been able to work on it since then. I plan on making meatloaf later today and finish writing the story. It sure as hell feels good to write something again more than poems of course. Maybe I broke free my slump by doing those creative exercises, I don’t know or maybe the chains dissolved, what ever the reason. I am hoping to resume a rigourous writing time with lots of new stories especially all my Weekly Shorts stories.

I was considering re-publishing some earlier ones so everyone can see how much I changed in a year since I have been doing these. Okay I admit it, I have been working so much that I can’t take care of my blog like I want to and I don’t want to leave my readers out in the cold. I know of many new readers that come by and of course I wouldn’t mind new fans either.
