~ What is exquisite corpse? It is a game and basically the rule is simple are people participating follow the rules creating something, whether it be scuplture, collage, or poetry. Sometimes it can be silly or serious it all depends on the participants.

Welcome to Exquisite Corpse- blog style!!!

Sometimes we can all come up with one line of poetry but nothing else follows. Those lines in conjunction with someone else’s line can make something special! After reading about “Exquisite Corpse” online, I thought this might be a good idea to bring to the blog world. And our goal is to make poetry!

How it Works
Very simple, every week I will come up with a theme and the rule to follow. such as the theme could be flowers and the rule is write a line in this format noun, adjective,verb. I will change the theme and rule every week. Please use the contact form below to fill in your line.

Basic Rules
~If you do not follow the line rule your line will be rejected
~Please copy the entire poem before the next one is posted or I will take away a link to your blog.
~I believe in free speech however their maybe instances where I would have to reject a line because of subject matter. If you have to ask then do so.
~If you have a post that fits with the theme then submit the post url
~submission for the week starts Friday and ends Thursday, midnight EST

What I Will Do on My End
~collect and compile everyone’s lines and add the links
~promote exquisite corpse and the poems (thus promoting you)
~add a title
~post the completed poem every Friday and leave it top post until Saturday night
~update Exquisite Corpse Poem page every week with the latest poems

What You Will Do
~participate as many times you like
~copy the entire post on each web address you provide, if you write with the same url just once is sufficient.
~tell your friends!
