For the week ending July 3, 2008 the theme is “Heat” and the line rule is: adjective noun noun verb. example: yellow car bugs singing. Please note just because there is a theme doesn’t mean you have to explicity talk about heat. It is there to only give you direction! Poem will be published July 4, 2008.
The poem: Fire Loins

For the week ending July 10, 2008 the theme is “Cherish” and the line rule is:
use all regular parts of speech (adj,noun,verb, adverb) only once in any order. No articles (a,an,the, to). The poem will be published on July 11, 2008.
The poem: Wedding Night

For the week ending July 17, 2008 the theme is SUMMER and the line rule is: FREEFORM LINE NOT TO EXCEED 5 WORDS. The poem will be published on July 18, 2008. If you have a post that fits in with this theme you can add your post url instead of homepage if you wish.
The poem: Fleeting Summer, Leaving Dreams

For the week ending July 31, 2008 the theme is BEACH and the line rule is: 6 WORD LINE CONTAINING THE WORD “TO”. The poem will be published August 1, 2008 (folks we just went bi-weekly here)

For the week ending August 14, 2008 the theme is NIGHT and the line rule is: 5 WORD LINE INCLUDING 2 ADJECTIVES. The poem will be published on August 15, 2008
The poem: Midnight Shadows

For the week ending August 28, 2008 the theme is END OF SUMMER and the line rule is: HAIKU (In English 3 lines that fall in this syllable pattern 5-7-5) The poem will be published on August 29, 2008
The poem: Fading

For the week ending September 11, 2008 the theme is FRESHMAN and the line rule is 2 FREE FORM LINES. The poem will be published on September 12, 2008
The Poem: First Day

For the week ending September 25, 2008 the poem is FOOTBALL (American Football) and the line rule is COUPLET (2 lines with the last word of each line rhyming) The poem will be published on September 26, 2008.
The poem: Endzone Glory

For the week ending October 10, 2008 Exquisite Corpse will be hosted on Dragonfly Poems. The theme is AUTUMN and the line rule is 2 LINES CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE COLOR AND 4 OTHER ADJECTIVES
The poem: Autumn Mystic

For the week ending October 23, 2008 Exquisite Corpse will be hosted on Dragonfly Poems. The theme is HALLOWEEN and the line rule is THREE FREEFORM LINES BUT DO NOT USE THE WORDS BLACK, ORANGE OR SPOOKY The poem will be published on October 24, 2008.
The poem: Halloween Magick

For the week ending November 13, 2008 Exquisite Corpse will be hosted on Author’s Lounge at the End of the Universe The theme is THANKFULLNESS and the line rule is HAIKU (5-7-5 syllable pattern in English). The poem will be published on November 14, 2008.
