Before I am Famous

literature is something we infer after the story is told

Weekly Shorts

I have this pretty decent idea. I need you all to help me out. I don’t know if I ever mentioned this before but sometimes when I come up with a story it typically starts with a name and then it goes from there.

So I thought this one up earlier today; its called Weekly Shorts. Where you give me a name and I write a short story no more than 1,000 words.

How it works:
1. Leave a comment with this post with a fictional character’s name and the type of genre you want be it love, mystery, or whatever. Please specify if the character is human or something else.
2. Also leave either your name or your screen name and your website/blog.
3. In a week or more, depending on how many want to do this, the story will be posted and at the bottom you will receive in post text link to your website/blog.

What you receive:
1. The satisfaction knowing you helped write a story.
2. In post text link is always worth something.

What I receive:
1. A way to explore, experiment and fine tune my writing.
2. Lots of new stories to share with world.
3. Inspiration.

So lets start a revolution today and make Weekly Shorts something fun where maybe we can get to know someone new! Leave those comments I will be waiting.

Hello all, I got a job on the outside so I can’t write a story every week like I would like to. However the story will be written, I just can’t give a definite time. I just completed the story suggested by Iron Man collectibles. I will try to write something every two weeks. Please understand but I do promise your story will be written. Don’t let this defer you from submitting ideas, the idea box is always open and I love writing the Weekly Shorts stories and this is something I won’t stop doing.

Thanks for understanding and keep those ideas coming.

[...] Weekly Shorts is a blog/site that tells short stories. Well, they are short but I like reading them. It’s nice to see stories that are not so long. First, I really don’t read books. And second, I only read those of horror, mystery, fantasy and sometimes those involves history. I think it would be nice to have such stories compiled in one book, like all short horror stories in one book Anyway, I have read this “The Fisherman’s Daughter” story by J Scott. The story is about a lady who is to marry a prince who she doesn’t love. And friendship with someone of different race have sacrificed for her happiness. It’s a nice story. And I think teens would love those kinds of stories by the way. [...]
